OUR STORY
New Beginnings was opened in December of 2006 and is owned and operated by sisters Dawn Fritzsche and Cassandra Saunders. It is a facility where members of the community can come in and receive alternative therapies.
Early in December 2006, 3 days before the Grand Opening of New Beginnings, their mother was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer after emergency surgery. In her search for alternative choices, which is what she chose to do instead of chemotherapy, she was led first to Electro Dermal Screening. From there she was educated about several different therapies to detoxify and bring her immune system back to health. It was during this time that Dawn decided to incorporate EDS into her practice and went to Georgia for her training and certification. Cassandra and Dawn also saw the benefits their mother was receiving from Alkaline Footbaths and Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy, and decided to purchase the equipment to offer its benefits to the community. More research led to nutritional/diet counseling, steam therapy, and light therapy, all of which fit in perfectly with what services New Beginnings started out to offer.
Cassandra has been a massage therapist since the spring of 2004. She studied massage and the lymphatic system at the Naturopathic Institute for Therapies and Education.
Dawn studied naturopathy at Clayton College of Natural Health and received her EDS certification through Standard Enzyme Company in Atlanta, GA. She continues her education in natural health, kiniseology, and herbology.
